1. Visit the Google Workspace Marketplace
2. Search for "Scout Post"
3. Click "Install"
4. Follow the authorization prompts
5. Add Scout Post to a Google Chat space
6. Connect your Basecamp account when prompted
After adding Scout Post to a Google Chat space, type /connect or wait for the welcome message.
Click the "Connect Basecamp" button and authorize Scout Post to access your Basecamp account through OAuth.

You can select which projects to monitor using the /projects command.
Type /help in Google Chat to see all available commands, including:
/help - Show available commands/status - Check connection status/link - Get Basecamp URL for current thread/broadcast [subject] | [message] - Send to all projects/find [query] - Search Basecamp/ai [question] - Ask AI about your projects/summarize - Summarize current thread/suggest - Get AI-suggested replySimply type your reply in the Google Chat thread where the Basecamp notification appeared. Scout Post will automatically post your message to Basecamp.

/summarize, or /suggest, your message is sent to Gemini for processing. The AI
analyzes your Basecamp context and provides helpful responses.

1. Check that Scout Post is added to your Google Chat space
2. Verify your Basecamp account is connected (/status)
3. Ensure the Basecamp project is in your monitored list
4. Check that webhooks are registered in Basecamp
5. Contact support if the issue persists

To disconnect Scout Post from Basecamp:
1. Go to Basecamp → Settings → My Stuff → Authorized Applications
2. Find "Scout Post" and click "Revoke Access"
To remove Scout Post from Google Chat:
1. Open the Chat space
2. Click the space name → Apps & integrations
3. Find Scout Post and click "Remove"

manage your subscription.
